“into the quiet” is a silent short film about Naomi, a woman struggling to adjust to the sudden loss of her hearing after having surgery to remove a brain tumor. Naomi’s story depicts a universal feeling of loss of self and how we can lean on our community to help cope and heal.

*This is a Happenstance Productions' 2023 submission to the New Haven 48-Hour Film Project. It was Nominated in nine categories.
